Peggy L. Corbin

Peggy Lynn Corbin, a graduate of Ohio University-Athens, has been affiliated with Corbin Commonwealth and Corbin Law Offices since 1981. In addition to overseeing the title company, she provides services to the firm of Corbin Law offices, as legal assistant, specializing in the areas of probate law and real estate law. She is there to help as special needs arise throughout the closing process. Customer service, accuracy and efficiency are her goals for Corbin Commonwealth.

Thomas James Corbin graduated from Ohio University-Athens cum laude and immediately entered Capital University Law School. He was admitted to the bar in 1978 and has continued his practice in the Lancaster, Ohio since that time. He previously worked as assistant prosecuting attorney for Fairfield County, in the area of civil law, wherein he represented the Fairfield County Commissioners, the Township Zoning Inspectors and Trustees gaining much expertise in large commercial transactions. He currently represents numerous villages in the county and presently teaches real estate law at Ohio University-Lancaster.

Although his practice is general in nature, he specializes in the area of real estate, probate and corporate law. He assists the title company as needed in preparation of certain documents required for closing and can provide services such as preparation of purchase agreements, deeds, notes, mortgages, easements, leases, 1031 exchange documents and/or representation of the buyer or seller throughout the closing process.
